It produced the output seen below the terminal output while using the Chrome Browser to access Ars.safari did not produce any visual output but no sound adjustment. F12 sound level key is non functional and does not change cound level. A lot of confusing stuff has been written on the net but I have found nothing really clear or helpful and look to the Ach to help me find and answer. ![]() The use of the spacebar to preview many types of files from the finder has long been a really useful feature of OS X and I would have expected it to continue in MacOs. An image on the desktop cannot be opened with return, which just highlights the file name for editing, which is the expected behaviour. I have not allocated the return key to this function. It also shows images can be opened by pressing the return shortcut. Opening an image in Photos shows under the image menu shows that images can be closed with a space bar shortcut. I tried making specific keyboard shortcuts for all applications, using terms such as open viewer, close viewer and open/close viewer. ![]() The blank finder window is all that appears on the desktop with a file name - Has the Preview application fallen over? Possibly the behaviour of Preview has been changed by Apple and I missed the announcement. I was editing images and spacebar does not now provide a preview of images. Any thoughts on how to fix this issue which has just made itself known.
